Choosing the Most Suitable Cleaning Device to Clean Your Swimming Pool
If you have a swimming pool, you have to make sure that your swimming pool is always clean. If it is severely uncared and it eventually becomes seriously dirty, it will not only be damaged easily, but it also will be quite dangerous to be used. A dirty swimming pool is a breeding place for various insects, microbes and other disease-transmitting organisms and is also not safe to be used for swimming because its steps and its floor will be very slippery. For that reason, cleaning your swimming pool is an obligatory task that you must undertake thoroughly and routinely.
You can clean your swimming pool using either manual or automatic pool cleaner. Traditionally, people clean their swimming pool using such manual cleaning instruments as brush, net, and vacuum cleaner. Brush is used to clean the swimming pool walls, floor and steps from moss and dirt, net is used to get rid of any floating garbage such as leaves and plastic bags, and pool vacuum is used to remove any debris from the bottom of the swimming pool.
However, many swimming pool owners are eventually aware that manual cleaning instruments are effective and practicable if they are used to clean small-sized pool and if the owners are eager to spare their time and energy to do the cleaning chore. Unfortunately, swimming pool has a much larger size than that of regular pool so cleaning it using manual cleaning instruments is considered inefficient and impractical. For that reason, swimming pool owners start to use automatic swimming pool cleaners to ensure the cleanliness of their pool.
Automatic pool cleaners are available in three types. The first automatic cleaning system for your swimming pool is suction cleaner. This automatic cleaner is considered the cheapest automatic swimming pool cleaner available in the market. This cleaner operates by sucking up water and any debris that contaminates it from the bottom and sides of your pool and filter the sucked up water using the pool filtration system. The only drawback of this system is that it gets the pool filters easily clogged because all debris and leaves are filtered by the pool filter.
The second type of automatic pool cleaning system is the pressure cleaner. It operates by applying a pressure to the return water, one which returns to the pool after being filtered by the filtration system, and filter the water using dedicated debris bag. This pool cleaner thus doesn’t clog the filtration system because the debris is contained by the dedicated bag. The third automatic cleaning system is a robot. It has its own electric motors that let it move freely to remove any debris.
Several robotic cleaner products are even equipped with computer chip so they can learn the layout of the pool in order to increase their effectiveness in cleaning the pool. All of those cleaners are available in the market so you should choose one which is suitable to your need and available budgets.
